Contraindications

Your safety is our top priority. We offer consultations where we can discuss potential contraindications and thoroughly explain the treatment before any laser procedure.

If you choose to book an appointment with direct laser treatment, we kindly ask that you review any possible contraindications beforehand.

Pregnancy or Breastfeeding

Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should avoid laser treatments, as the potential effects on the child have not been sufficiently studied.

Metallobjekte im Behandlungsareal

Metal objects such as piercings or implants in the treatment area can affect the safety and effectiveness of the laser treatment. In this case, we are unfortunately unable to perform the laser treatment.

UV-induced tanned skin

With heavily tanned skin – from the sun, tanning beds, or self-tanner – there is an increased risk of pigment changes. In this case, you should wait until your skin has returned to its natural, untanned color, which may take at least 14 days, before scheduling an appointment for laser treatment.

Wounds in the Treatment Area

Open wounds or skin irritations in the treatment area should be fully healed to avoid infections and complications.

Allergies to Tattoo Ink

Allergies to the ink used should be considered, as they can lead to unwanted reactions.

Medical Conditions and Medication

In the case of existing medical conditions, such as cancer or autoimmune diseases, or if you are taking medication, it is advisable to consult a doctor beforehand to discuss any potential risks. Therefore, we kindly ask you to first clarify your individual situation with a doctor before booking an appointment.

Freshly Done Tattoos in the Healing Phase

A freshly done tattoo should be fully healed before undergoing laser treatment. The wound healing phase is typically complete after about 14 days.
