Before the laser treatment
First, we will have a thorough consultation with you and address any questions you may have. To ensure there are no contraindications, we will ask you some health-related questions.
Before the treatment, we will first clean your eyebrows and take a photo for documentation. Then, we will cool the eyebrows to minimize any pain and side effects. If necessary, a numbing cream can be applied; in this case, you should apply the cream to your eyebrows 1 to 2 hours before your appointment. For the protection of your eyes, we will provide you with a fully darkened laser protection glasses.
When can my permanent make-up not be lasered?
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Metal objects in the treatment area
- High UV exposure in the last 14 days
- Tanning bed use in the last 14 days
- Tanning products applied to the treatment area
- Wounds in the treatment area
Before the laser treatment, the eyebrows are slightly cooled. If necessary, a numbing cream can be applied before the laser session. In this case, please apply the numbing cream to your eyebrows one hour before your appointment.
The laser treatment itself takes about 10 minutes. Immediately after the laser session, in most cases, the eyebrows (as well as the underlying skin) will turn white. This discoloration is temporary and will gradually fade over the next few days to weeks.
The next laser session can take place after 4 weeks. Typically, about 3-6 sessions are needed to remove eyebrow permanent makeup. The laser treatment
To determine the optimal settings for your treatment, we begin with test shots. The actual laser treatment takes about 10 minutes. Depending on your pain tolerance, we take short breaks to ensure your comfort.
After the laser treatment
Following the treatment, we apply a soothing ointment to your eyebrows and cool them again to calm the skin. It is recommended to continue cooling the treated eyebrows in the hours after the procedure.

Immediately after the laser session, in most cases, the eyebrows (as well as the underlying skin) will turn white. This discoloration is temporary and will gradually fade over the next few days to weeks.
During the next 2-3 days, mild swelling, redness, bruising, blistering, or crusting may also occur. Hypo- or hyperpigmentation can occur, especially if the treated skin area was exposed to strong UV light before or after the laser session.During the removal process, it is very common for the original permanent makeup color to change. This is because tattoo ink is always made up of color mixtures that become visible once a portion of the color pigments has been broken down and eliminated. Depending on the color composition, different wavelengths are required, which we achieve through the various handpieces of the laser. Accordingly, we use different handpieces throughout the laser sessions.
Depending on the composition of the tattoo ink, so-called color-shifts may occur, which can complicate the removal of your eyebrow permanent makeup.Does the laser treatment cause hair loss in the eyebrows?
In general, laser treatment does not cause hair loss in the eyebrows. A different laser technology is used for hair removal than for tattoo removal.

For the next 14 days, your eyebrows will be very sensitive. The treated area of skin must be kept clean and as friction-free as possible. For the first few days, apply an ointment recommended by us to the affected skin area. We advise against any measures that could cause skin irritation during the healing phase.
For example:
Makeup: approximately 48 hours
Sports: approximately 48 hours
Sauna, swimming, bathing: 1 weekAdditionally, there is an increased need for UV protection throughout the entire treatment period. Effective sun protection is essential.
We will discuss the exact aftercare with you and provide you with an information sheet.

The cost for the removal of eyebrow permanent make-up is CHF 230 per laser session.
In most cases, we achieve complete removal of eyebrow PMU in 3-6 laser sessions, spaced at least 4 weeks apart.
